PADI ReActivate

Keep your scuba skills up to date, stay safe, and enjoy your diving. If you haven’t been diving for a long time, then this is the perfect way to spruce up those diving skills.

1. Course overview

The PADI ReActivate is designed with a modern lifestyle in mind.

Firstly, you’ll complete the eLearning module to refresh your knowledge and keep you current.

You’ll then complete a thorough in water refresh at our pool, where one of our experienced PADI Divemasters will lead you through a personalised session.

Once you complete both the eLearning and inwater skill refresher you will receive a replacement certification eCard with your reactivation date.

2. What you'll learn

You’ll immerse yourself in dive scenarios and make decisions that test your understanding of important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management.

Move through ReActivate at your own pace and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to. It is all about you, so we will assess you individual needs and focus on what is needed.

3. Equipment

Unlike our introductory courses, you’ll either need to provide your own scuba kit, or hire some from us for the duration of your course. If you want to look at purchasing your own, we’d be happy to help you also.

As a minimum, you’ll need a mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy compensating jacket (BCD), scuba regulator, and the instrumentation to monitor your depth and air supply. You can hire cylinders from us, or bring your own in-test cylinders with you to be refilled at the dive site.

You’ll be diving in our pool, so we’ll leave it up to you to decide what exposure protection you’d like to dive with. If you dive in a dry suit, you need to ensure you have the correct training for this.

Any equipment you provide yourself must be in a serviced, well-maintained and safe condition. No exceptions!

4. Learning materials

We will send you the PADI ReActivate e-Learning materials in preparation for your course, which allows you to study at your own pace.

You can complete this on pretty much any device with an internet connection.

Once you’ve completed this, you are ready for the rest of the course with us!

Ready to start?

You can book and pay for your course with us online, either for yourself or someone else. We’ll send over any e-Learning content to your email, and we can then work with you on suitable dates and times for any practical sessions.

We have availability throughout the year, although if you have specific dates or a timeline in mind, please check with us first.

Your next adventure...

Practice makes perfect, as they say! Continue your diving journey and re-inforce good diving habits along the way.

If you haven’t already done so, you might want to consider your PADI Advanced Open Water course – or work your way up to it with the PADI Adventure Diver course.

After this, the PADI Rescue Diver course will help you understand the prevention, recognition and the essential knowledge required to deal with most situations around and underwater.

You might even want to pursue a PADI speciality course that interests you – whether that’s deep diving, dry suit diving, wreck diving, or something else entirely.
